마르퀴즈 후즈 후사는 1899년에 문을 열어 100년이 넘는 역사를 가지고 있어 역사적으로 가장 오래된 세계인명기관으로 세계적으로 가장 많이 알려져 있습니다.
이곳에서는 세계적인 인명사전인 후즈후인더월드(Who’s Who in the World)를 발간하고 있습니다.

미국 노스 캐롤라이나에 위치하고 있으며 이곳에서 발간되는 분야별 연도별 인명사전은 미국 하바드, 스탠퍼드 등의 유명 대학은 물론 미국 국회에도 자료가 제공되는 인정받는 인명기관입니다.
이곳은 미국 인명기관 중 가장 공격적인 정책을 도입하여 적극적인 홍보는 물론 규모를 확대하고 있습니다.

국제인명센터(IBC)는 35년의 역사를 갖고 있는 유럽을 대표하는 세계적 인명기관으로 영국 캠브리지에 본부를 두고 있으며, 다른 세계적 인명기관이 모두 미국을 중심으로 이루어지고 있는데 비해 유일한 비미국적 인명기관입니다.
짧은 역사에 비하여 비약적인 발전을 거듭하여 분야별 세계적 석학 등을 초빙하여 공동 문화적 주제 등을 찾는 국제회의를 자주 개최하거나 2000년에는 인터넷망의 중요성을 파악하여 온-라인을 구축하는 등 다방면으로 노력을 기울이고 있습니다.
